RAJECKÁ LESNÁ – ČIČMANY – ORAVSKÝ ZÁMOK – DEMÄNOVSKA CAVE, JASNA (220KM)
Stop to see Rajecka Lesna, famous for the unique wood-carving work the biggest mobile Nativity scene in Slovakia called “Slovak Betlehem”.
Čičmany became well-known for its beautiful traditional costumes and well preserved wooden houses, which are painted with white decorations.
Visit Oravsky zamok, one of the most beautiful castles in Slovakia, built in 13th century. In 1922 first Dracula film „Nosferatu“ was filmed here, when the castle doubled for Transylvania. Overnight Jasna.

JASNÁ – TATRANSKÁ LOMNICA. CABLE CAR TO SKALNATÉ PLESO AND Mt. LOMNICKÝ ŠTÍT, NIGHT SWIMMING IN THERMAL SPA (150 KM)
Demanovska Liberty Cave- belongs to the most beautiful karst caves in Slovakia, is unique with variety of stalactite formations, lakes, waterfalls and Demanovka River, opened for public since 1924.
The High Tatras mountains, situated in the northern part of Slovakia, on the border with Poland,1949 declared to be the first Slovak national park (TANAP) and in 1993 together with the polish part of the Tatras mountains declared by the UNESCO to be the „Biospheric reservation of the Tatras“.
Enjoy light trekking around the Strbske Pleso mountain lake, take the cable car ride to Skalnate Pleso and, if the weather allows, take the cableway directly to the peak of Lomnický štít, second highest of Tatra Mts. ŽDIAR – ČERVENÝ KLÁŠTOR – KEŽMAROK (120 KM)
ŽDIAR, typical Goral community is famous for its folk arts and traditions, people still use to put on their folk costumes on Sundays or feast days. Visit folk museum „Ždiarska izba“.
Enjoy raft on the river from Cerveny Klastor (Red Monastery) on the traditional rafts used in the past for the transport of goods from the south to the north of Europe on this trade route. The rafts are led by local rafters (Gorals) dressed in traditional folklore costumes. After rafting taste local folk specialities for lunch.
Kezmarok – is famous for its town reservation, castle with a museum, and an unique wooden protestant church built without using a single metal component (1717) . Its ground plan is in the form of a Greek cross. Church was included to UNESCO’s Word Heritage List. Overnight Vysoke Tatry.
5. day
LEVOČA – SPIŠSKÝ HRAD – ŽEHRA – KOŠICE (150km)
Levoca – visit a famous gothic St. Jakob church with the highest wooden oltar in the world – 18,6 m (it is the work of Master Pavol ), and the collection of 12 wooden altars, the late gothic townhall Museum of Spiš, the cage of shame.
Spissky Hrad- the biggest middle-age castle in Central Europe, first mentioned in 12th century is a dominant feature of the Spis region. It is placed in the countryside on a travertine rock and was accepted into the UNESCO list in 1993.
Zehra – another UNESCO monument-is known for its rare Rome-catholic church of the Holy Spirit in roman and early gothic styles built in 1275. The church paintings are of a high quality and have a unique thematic diversity showing different biblical stories and legends.

6. day
KOŠICE – (or optional BARDEJOV – HERVARTOV – JEDLINKA – 200KM)
Continue with city tour Kosice, after the lunch enjoy Kosice, visit Technical Museum or drive optional (extra 25 Eur per person) to.
Hervartov – together with other 7 wooden churches of the Slovak part of Carpathian Mountain Area, it was included on the UNESCO’s Word Heritage List. Hervartov church is the oldest and best preserved wooden church in Slovakia. The Gothic pictures and wall paintings from 1655 and 1805 are the most valuable parts of its interior.
Bardejov – UNESCO sight is considered the most gothic town of Slovakia, first mentioned in the 13th century. The town has also healing spas.
See also The Greek Catholic wooden church of the Protection of the Saint Gods Mother in Jedlinka from 1763. It is the typical Lemko variation of three-tower and three-part log temple of the Ruthenian-Ukrainian region. Overnight Kosice.

ARAGONIT CAVE – BETLIAR – DETVA – BRATISLAVA (420 KM)

The Ochtinska Aragonite Cave is a unique natural phenomenon and the only Aragonite cave of that kind in the world. It is one of three aragonite caves discovered in the world so far ( 2 others are in Mexico and in Argentina). The main attraction of the cave is called Milky Way Hall, where you can see the white branches and clusters of aragonite shining like stars.
Betliar – small chateau of Betliar is surrounded with one of most beautiful and greatest park of English style in Slovakia. Exhibition in rooms in Betliar is specialized to show the way of life and furniture culture of Hungarian aristocracy of 18th and 19th centuries.
Drive through folk city Detva, then Zvolen – with its ancient castle and memorials from the WW2- Slovak uprising against nazis, see Nitra one of the oldest town settlements in Slovakia. As early as the 9th century, it was a princely seat and bishopic of the Great Moravian Empire. In 830, the first Christian church in Slovakia was built here. Arrive to Bratislava, end of the trip.
