Waterworks Museum in Bratislava

Located in the historical building of the first station Bratislava, Waterworks Museum offers an overview of the water industry from the 12th century to the present day.

The water cycle from pumping, production and distribution to collection, treatment and return back to nature is one of the basic elements. Visitors will also find a wide range of historical items such like stone pipes, period water valves, measurement instruments, hydrants, well cross sections and pumps. One particularly interesting item at the Waterworks Museum is 17th century water pipe from the gardens at Versailles.

Guided visit to the Isle Sihot (opened for public twice a year only), 15min. walking.
